Sterile Blood Analysis Collection Tube Grey Top For Glucose And Lactate Research 1ml - 10ml
Sterile Blood Analysis Collection Tube Grey Top with Glucose 1ml-10ml
Glucose Tubes:
Glucose tubes are used for glucose determinations like blood sugar and sugar tolerance. The tubes contain a glucose stabiliser, which allows you to block the process of glycolysis for up to 24 hours at room temperature. The range of application is: research of glucose, lactate and nucleic acid tests.
Product Description:
1. The tube is using Blood glucose degradation inhibitor and Sodium fluride composite anticoagulant as additives. Grey closure.
2. Specimen:plasma. It’s used for glucose determinations and nucleic acid tests especially.
3. Specs:13x75mm,13x100mm
4. Draw volume:1ml-6ml
5. Storage temperature:4-25℃
6. Max. vacuum degree tolerance:±10%
7. Invert the tube 6-8 times gently.

With sodium fluoride and potassium oxalate
The tubes contain a glucose stabiliser, which allows you to block the process of glycolysis for up to 24 hours at room temperature.
Scope: research of glucose and lactate
Adding sodium fluoride and potassium oxalate to a tube helps prevent the breakdown of blood glucose (a process called glycolysis) and maintain its level in a blood sample.
Sodium fluoride and potassium oxalate act as anticoagulants, binding Ca2+ ions; in addition, sodium fluoride stabilises glucose levels.
Glucose breaks down to pyruvate and lactate with the sequential implementation of various enzymatic reactions. Sodium fluoride inhibits some enzymatic reactions, including the conversion of phosphoglycerate to phosphoenolpyruvate, and prevents glycolysis.
